About the event

NASA Space Apps Challenge is the world’s largest global hackathon organized by NASA. It brings together thousands of participants from across the globe to develop innovative solutions for real-world problems on Earth and in space using NASA's open data.

For the third year in a row, NASA Space Apps Shebeen Elkom is hosting this exciting event in El Menoufia, taking place on October 4, 5, and 6, 2025, at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence – Menoufia University.

Last year’s edition welcomed over 500 participants, and this year we are expecting between 600 to 700 developers, designers, engineers, and students from across the Delta region.

Participants work in teams to tackle global challenges, with the top teams advancing to NASA’s global stage — and possibly all the way to NASA HQ in the United States!
