About the event
Miles for Mutts is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. Each year, we invite our neighbors, partners, adopters, and supporters to join us for a fun morning of activities, kicking off with our 5k run and 1-mile fun walk!
Following the run and walk, we have sponsor vendor tables, adoptable pups, giveaways, merch, bake sales, contests, and MORE!
With our Eleventh Annual Miles for Mutts 5k Run and 1-Mile Walk, we’re celebrating over a decade of dedication to our community and to dogs in need.

Being a hero means supporting our life-saving mission! It means providing essential funds that allow us to save the lives most in need - like our Heartworm positive, orthopedic surgery cases, pregnant moms, and more!
Last year our sponsors brought in $24,000 which allowed us to save more lives and provide care to dogs in need.
Andrew HerbertTo Love a Canine Rescue (TLC Rescue) is a foster-based, all-breed dog rescue located in the greater Philadelphia area. Founded on the belief that every dog deserves a loving home, TLC works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs from overcrowded shelters, unsafe environments, and situations of neglect or abandonment. Their dedicated network of fosters provides safe, nurturing homes where dogs can heal, grow, and prepare for their forever families.
How Donations Help:
Donated funds directly support TLC's life-saving work, including:

Veterinary care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, surgeries, medications)

Transporting dogs from high-risk areas to safety

Providing food, supplies, and preventatives to foster homes

Behavioral training and rehabilitation for dogs with special needs

Promoting adoption events and outreach to educate the community
