About the event
Our event is raising money for the local YWCAs for sexual assault awareness month (S.A.A.M). Multiple nurses who deal with sexually assaulted victims, sex trafficked people and people who are in a horrible situation came together and decided to give back. We as a group want to educate our community more in what they can do to help and prevent these incidents. We are within the top 20 for sex trafficking in the United States because of the truck rout we live by. We want to make a difference.
Why should you sponsor?
You would be helping us educate our community better. You would be creating a better environment for the victims. Give them resources that they need, a roof over their head and a safe haven that they need.
Elizabeth OwenMy name is Elizabeth, Liz is preferred. I have worked in the emergency department for about 8 years. I push for what I want and will work really hard for it. I have been working my but off to plan this event. I have done some in the past for other charities, but this one is the closest one to my heart.

We will have your company at a hole as well as a banner at the event! You can help make a difference by educating and helping give back to our local shelters to help anyone in need. People who have been assaulted sexually, who’s being sex trafficked and giving out more resources to those who can help those people as well. We are located in an areas that is top 20 in sex trafficking in the United States.
