As the chair of this event and the CEO of Apex Leadership Consult, a top coaching organisation for leaders based in London, UK, I bring with me a wealth of experience as a former diplomat and a multi-award-winning executive and business coach. My educational background includes an MBA in Management and two doctoral degrees, one of which is on experiential learning and leadership. I also hold coaching qualifications at the masters level. I have held numerous high-profile leadership positions in government, academia, and the financial sector.

Entrepreneurial leadership is my lifelong fascination and it has been an interesting journey for me. I have functioned as the Special Aide to two consecutive Ministers of Science & Technology as well as having the honour of representing my native country as a diplomat in different parts of the world including Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, India, Indonesia, Germany, Switzerland etc. The United Kingdom was my last duty post as a diplomat. In course of duty, I met and interacted with many high-profile leaders across the globe. They include presidents and heads of states as well as business leaders, Ministers and other top government officials. Some of them are General Sani Abacha, former Nigerian head of state, Dr Habibie, former president of Indonesia and Queen Elizabeth II among others. My discoveries from meeting these leaders are captured in my best selling book, 'The Learning Leader and the 5 Perspectives of Change Leadership (3rd ed.).
